How TokenBaazar meters a request: token count, model rate, wallet deduction, transaction ledger.

Transparency matters when you're paying per token. Every request generates a ledger entry you can inspect from your dashboard.

The formula#

cost_paise = ceil((tokens_in * rate_in + tokens_out * rate_out) / 1000)

Rates come from the model_pricing table and are always quoted per 1000 tokens in paise. Fractional paise round up so you never underpay by one.

Refunds on failed upstream calls are automatic — you are never charged for a 5xx you didn't get value from.
